Mostar Puppet Theatre is the oldest professional puppet theatre in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Founded back in 1952, it exists at the same address to this day. In its rich history it won numerous awards at national and international festivals with guest appearances in 16 countries worldwide.

In the last 10 years alone, the theatre has won 40 major awards. Its repertoire includes classical puppet fairy tales, contemporary puppet texts and plays for children from 5 to 12 years of age. Plays are performed in the air-conditioned and well-equipped conference room of the Theatre, on Sundays at 11 am commercially available, and there are regular series of performances for all Mostar schools.

High quality performances are guaranteed to children and to their parents the right to enjoy the superb puppet art.  The names of contributors and artists of the Theatre are the best guarantee that this is one exceptional and professional house.
