Pavarotti Music Centre |
The building was constructed in 1908 during the Austrian-Hungarian period according to the project of architect D. Knezic. Situated in the Luka district, in the past it has been used as a primary school but, since 1997, it has been converted into the present music Centre, thanks to the work of «War Child», the humanitarian organization funded by Luciano Pavarotti and other famous artists. Nowadays, the Centre holds a well-equipped recording studio, and organizes various youth activities filtered through a musical education. Tita 179; tel. +387 (0) 36 550 750 |
