The official currency is Convertible Mark (KM); 1 KM = 100 pfennig.Currency code is BAM. Catering establishments, shops, shopping malls and travel agencies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot accept EURO payments since October 1st, 2010. Foreign currencies should be exchanged to the official local currency Convertible Mark (BAM or KM).If you arrive at Sarajevo, you can change your money directly at the Airport; the service is open until 6:00 p.m. In Mostar, you can go to a bank (open until 8:00 p.m.on weekdays, and until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday morning), or Post offices.
